This campground is tailored for the family experience and offers lots of kid-friendly activities, such as rooster feeding and paddle boating.
The campsites are surrounded by beautiful forests and have a rustic sense of privacy, making this one of the better choices for RV parks near Appleton that offer a serene experience. There are also hiking trails, bicycle rentals, and great fishing opportunities on the pond.
Additionally, there is a general store at the site along with a cocktail lounge and golf cart rentals. Sitting on the shore of Lake Winnebago about 30 minutes south of Appleton is a campground and marina that offers campers a wonderful experience. They also have sites with full hookups for those looking to find a great spot for an extended stay. The boat launch will accommodate midsized craft, and there are also rentals available. After working up an appetite on the water, you can recharge at one of the many restaurants, bars, and pizza shops that are just minutes away. The rate is cheaper if you stay a week.

The best camping near
In addition to Lake Winnebago, there is a small Butterfly Pond, with fishing pier. We will definitely come back.
Hours 8 a. Playground equipment for children is very nice too. This is our fourth time in three years here. Absolutely awesome staff and such a great deal on everything from drinks to food. Nice level, back in, a site on the canal, next to the lake with lots of tree cover.
